Moraira
This stunning park is just a ten minute stroll to a sandy beach and close to the popular old fishing port of Moraira. This is the ideal park - in the most idyllic location.
The park has been well laid out and thoughtfully designed, making full use of its beautiful surroundings. Situated in a small secluded bay within a pine forest, the park is walking distance to the town centre, a sandy beech, golf courses and tennis courts.
Moraira enjoys a typical subtropical Mediterranean climate, with a cool sea breeze in summer to ensure the weather doesn't become too hot and the protection from the surrounding mountains ensures that the winters are mild. The area has around 325 days of sunshine a year with an average temperature which exceeds 20 degrees. The weather is neither too hot in summer nor too cold in winter - such an ideal climate that the world health organisation recommended this part of Spain as one of the most equitable in the world.
Agriculture is the main industry of the area with the growing of fruits and the famous Muscatel grape for wine production. The other major industry is tourism, an important part of the area's economy.
The local people are very friendly and welcoming and with a large number of British living in the area, English is widely spoken.
